Confusing weathering with erosion

Weathering breaks rock apart where it sits; erosion is the separate process of moving that broken material somewhere else — a question describing movement is testing erosion, not weathering.

Mixing up convergent and divergent boundaries

Convergent boundaries (plates colliding) typically build mountains or create subduction zones; divergent boundaries (plates separating) create new crust and rift valleys — the two produce essentially opposite landforms.

Assuming metamorphic rock must come from igneous rock

Any of the three rock types — igneous, sedimentary, or even another metamorphic rock — can be transformed into metamorphic rock through enough heat and pressure; there's no rule that it has to start as igneous.
